Resort Overview

Bali Nusa Dua Gardens opened its gates in 2018 and was later joined by a second property, Nusa Dua Terrace in 2022. Both timeshare resorts are extraordinary offerings from Marriott, and we've had a soft spot for both venues.

But for families who are looking for a complete Nusa Dua Bali vacation encounter, we feel that Gardens presents a more dynamic experience. For starters, you'll have convenient access to the beach via the co-located adjacent Courtyard 5-star hotel, which Marriott also owns.

Then, during your free time, you can also take a quick shuttle to the urban proper, central shopping mall, or other nearby attractions. Hence, Marriott's Bali Nusa Dua Gardens make for a more exciting option for families who are looking to truly explore the ins and outs of Bali.

Marriott Nusa Dua Gardens Facilities

While we initially sought Gardens for its location, there were also a bunch of notable amenities that made us giddy within the gated community. For one, we think that the beach-adjacent apartment-style resort had a gimmicky but fun and relaxing Lazy River Pool!

On days we're not inclined to take an inspired stroll, we shared floaties with our kids to take laps and laze around the pool as we revel in the tropical weather. The pool bar and grill also offer some tasty, albeit spicy snacks. Just watch out so that you don't rile up the kids!

If you have the energy to spare or burn, it's also worth checking out the fitness center or spa. The kids, on the other hand, will surely enjoy the all-inviting and ever-lively Kids' Club! Safe to say that you'll get your money's worth when it comes to family-friendly amenities and options.

Why Choose Marriott Nusa Dua Gardens

Centralized Location

It'll be a missed opportunity not to set aside time to explore the island.

On that note, Marriott Nusa Dua Gardens offers easy access to the Nusa Dua community, beach, wildlife zoo, and marketplace. Its centralized location should give you plenty of options to expand your itinerary and possibly introduce your kids to new experiences.

For our part, we made sure ahead of time that we'd have little in the way of exploring by upgrading to the TernX travel stroller, which allowed us to pack smartly and stay agile.

It's never fun to carry a separate stroller during international travel, so we found it game-changing to come across a stroller and luggage solution in one piece of equipment!

The carry-on luggage was an absolute unit for us.

Fun Amenities and World-Class Facilities

On the flip side, Gardens is a resort in Nusa Dua that's also quite known for its on-premise offerings. This allows families to plan a dynamic vacation that can maximize the resort's range of amenities and its perfect location.

You'll never find yourself stuck in one place, and there's plenty of fun both ways!

Meanwhile, we recommend trying the outdoor pools, hot tubs, and all the children's amenities. There's also free WiFi across the property, a shuttle service to the beach, and a marketplace express for your usual essential needs.

Apartment-Style Accommodation

One thing we haven't emphasized enough, but a key factor to our decision to stay here, is that the resort offers spacious apartment accommodations.

Bedroom apartments provide plenty of space for the entire family! Kids get extra room to play, and adults are greeted with a full kitchen to keep them busy. Having your laundry equipment also saves you a lot of time that can be reallocated to other meaningful activities.

Notably, check-in begins late at 4pm, while check-out times are no later than 10am.

We love hotels as they are, but an apartment-style vacation room is simply a lot more convenient and fulfilling for the whole family.

Shared Amenities with Courtyard Bali Nusa Dua

Gardens share some Courtyard hotel amenities, which also happen to be your quick access point to the beach. There's also the Courtyard Spa, a Bali-inspired day spa where you can come in for a body scrub or wrap, massage, and other beauty treatments.

Additionally, there's also the Bamboo Activity Centre, where the entire family can observe environmentally mindful practices and sustainable ethics that they can eventually adapt to their everyday lives. Lastly, Courtyard also shares access to the family-friendly East Pool and Kids Pool, as well as a fully-equipped fitness center.
